The rally of cars and bikes will cover over 20,000 km, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and then to Delhi.

‘Bharat Bachao Maha Rath Yatra’ will be the longest rally the country has seen. Having arrived in the city on Monday after completing 30 days, the members of the organisation urged the public to join them in their campaign. They urged the public to sign their petition demanding implementation of the policy ‘Hum Do Humare Do’ to ensure that the population is under control.

“We see that the government’s family planning policy of giving birth to not more than two children is being openly flouted and it is causing extreme imbalance in the country’s population. Considering this grave challenge, there is a dire need to enact a stringent population control law in the country. This is the reason that the ‘Bharat Bachao Sangathana’ has decided to organise the rally to put pressure on the Central government, the parliament and all political parties to bring in a population control law in the country with a new slogan ‘Hum Do Humare Do Toh Sabke Do’,” said Major General S P Sinha, convener of the yatra.
