ISO certification for seven police stations in Ambattur

The inspection by the officials was held 10 days ago at all seven stations and the results were declared on Monday. 

This the first step towards making police stations people-friendly, said sources. The decision to make police stations certified was taken two months ago and seven stations with better performance were selected from Ambattur. The inspectors of the respective stations were given training and the other officers of the station were taught etiquette of dealing with complainants.
