Three mobile phones, bikes seized from six snatchers, including two juveniles
Royapuram police on Thursday arrested as many as six mobile phone snatching accused, including two juveniles, and recovered three mobile phones and three two-wheelers from them.

Police first secured two juveniles on Wednesday, and based on the inputs that they gave, R Ajithkumar (20), B Arunkukar (20), M Muthu (21) and S Balaji (20) of Tondiarpet.Â
These six persons formed a gang and indulged in cellphone and bike thefts. They targeted Maheshkumar, resident of Old Washermanpet, when he was going for a walk on Wednesday morning at cemetery road and snatched his mobile phone.Â
While the juveniles were sent to observation home, the other four were remanded to judicial custody. Â
