Nearly, 10,000 police personnel were deployed across to prevent untoward incidents on Sunday night.

The additional commissioner had earlier told DT Next that since those as young as 18 and 19 predominantly involved in such daredevils, the move is expected make them think twice before indulging in such acts. The fresh clamp down on the traffic offenders started in run up to the New Year.
