Do not need video clips to win RK Nagar: Dinakaran
Former MP TTV Dinakaran on Thursday said the video showing former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in a hospital was shot in November 2016, after she was shifted out of the ICU. He asserted that many of the ministers were aware of its existence.

Dinakaran also said he would submit the video clips to the Arumughaswamy Commission if he was summoned. He did not require the release of the video clips for a victory in RK Nagar, he added.
Talking to the media, he said his supporter P Vetrivel had released the clips without his knowledge, but refused to take action on his colleague, saying that Vetrivel did not do it for personal gains.
The video was with him from February and it was given to Vetrivel, Dinakaran said and added that he came to know about its release only through the media. Vetrivel was a long time friend of his, he said and added that his colleague was angry over the accusations against VK Sasikala in relation to Jayalalithaa’s death. “I am not worried if releasing the video clips is right or wrong,” he stated. Dinakaran also thanked the cadre and functionaries who worked for him in the RK Nagar bypoll.
