Drive-in, get your blood tested at this facility; receive reports in your inbox

Stating that the drive-in centre will have two valets outside to usher persons inside, Anand K, CEO, Neuberg Ehrlich, the clinical laboratory which opened the drive-in centre, said, “No prior appointments are required for persons arriving for tests. We can handle two cars at a time and have space for 10-12 cars.” He further added, 

“While for some tests, a doctor’s prescription is required, a basic test can be done without it. An username and password is given to those who avail of the blood test, and they can access their report via email. We send them a text message when their report is sent.”  With no other centres in the state, the facility was launched after the one in Bengaluru turned out to be a success. “The unique drivein blood collection centre will provide ease for the citizens of Chennai for quick blood collection, even without getting out of the car or in some cases, briefly get out and give the blood in the drive-in area itself ,without even getting into the laboratory and waiting in a queue. To use the drive-in, one can even come by a cab. All testing requests can be made through the phone and the validated results can be obtained through the internet,” said Dr G S K Velu, Chairman, Neuberg Diagnostics.
