Vishal thanks EC for moving Velusamy out

Thanking the Election Commission for ‘changing’ the returning officer of RK Nagar, Velusamy, actor Vishal on Saturday penned an open letter, thanking his supporters and vowing to return to politics with more vigour. In a message on his official Twitter handle, Vishal described the rejection (of his nomination papers) as “unjustified and unethical” and said that he would “continue to serve the people and fight for democracy and will return to politics in full swing.” The debutant politician attempted to be politically correct by adding in his tweet that there were much bigger issues like Kanniyakumari fishermen issue to support and concentrate than him contesting in the bypoll.
