Year after Porsche crash, similar mishap kills another
Exactly a year after the horrific accident on Radhakrishnan Salai in which an autorickshaw driver was killed by a speeding Porsche, another auto driver died at the same spot in a similar crash in the wee hours of Sunday.

This time, it was a Chevrolet Cruze driven by a group of inebriated college students. Police said that they were driving the car to Marina beach from a private event venue on Anna Salai, when they lost control and rammed one of the five autorickshaws parked in front of a showroom.Â
In the collision, B Rajesh (35), one of the auto drivers sleeping in their vehicles, was killed on the spot, while five others sustained injuries. All the students have been booked under various Acts of the IPS and the Motor Vehicles Act.Â
