Passenger’s bag stolen at city airport
In a daring incident at Chennai airport, a person stole the hand baggage of a passenger from Pune at the Airport Authority of India (AAI) canteen on Friday.

Police said around 19 persons, who arrived from Pune, were having dinner at the AAI canteen, when they realised that the bag of one of them had gone missing.
Checking of the CCTV footage at the restaurant showed a person who appeared to be 30 years old walking away with the bag. Incidentally, the bag contained the Aadhar and Pan card of the passenger besides Rs 3000 in cash.
Airport station police have registered a case and a hunt is on to nab the person seen in the CCTV footage.
