Woman along with daughters jumps in front of train; all dead

The deceased were identified as Saraswathi, wife of Lakshmanan, a driver and a resident of Ambedkar Nagar in Perumalpet near Veppumpattu, and her daughters, Nilakash (3) and Sreeja (2). 

Preliminary inquiries revealed that Lakshmanan, a habitual drunkard, used to quarrel with his wife often. On Wednesday night, Lakshmanan had come home drunk and picked up a fight with Saraswathi. 

Upset over his drinking habit, Saraswathi on Thursday morning walked out of the house and jumped in front of a train along with her two daughters. All the three were killed on the spot.
