Man kills father over property

Police said that the deceased Radha Krishnan of Aanai Kundram village near Madhuranthakam partitioned his three-acre land and gave it to his two sons - Vasudevan (35) and Sanjeevi (30). He kept another half-acre land for himself and his wife Muniammal. On Sunday night, Vasudevan visited his parents’ house and got into an argument demanding their portion. 

In a fit of rage, Vasudevan took an empty cylinder and smashed his father’s head. Radha Krishnan fell unconscious and died. Following a complaint, Vasudevan has been remanded in judicial custody.
