Daughter seeks help to bring back Sridhar’s body
Amid reports of difficulties in bringing the body of gangster Sridhar Dhanapal, who committed suicide in Cambodia, Sridhar’s daughter Dhanalakhsmi has appealed to the Kancheepuram Collector and Superintendent of Police to help bring her father’s body to conduct the final rites at his hometown.

Dhanalakshmi has stated that her brother Santhosh informed her over the phone on October 4 that Sridhar had been admitted at Khema Hospital in Cambodia and that he came to know about it through Sridhar’s cook Devendran. “The same night, I flew to Cambodia with advocates Purushothaman and Vinayaga Vishnu. However, when we visited the hospital along with Santhosh, my father (Sridhar) was already dead,” she said.
She has also stated that the hospital has issued a certificate confirming Sridhar’s death in which it has been mentioned that he died of sudden cardiac arrest.
