Teen falls to death from bus in city
A 16-year-old polytechnic student travelling on the footboard of an MTC bus (64C) was crushed under the vehicle after he slipped and fell on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Thilakraj (16), son of Ravi, a car driver and a resident of Gandhi Nagar in Kodungaiyur. On Tuesday evening, he boarded the jam-packed bus to reach home and was travelling on the foot board.Â
The vehicle was negotiating a sharp turn near Ambedkar College in Vyasarpadi, when he slipped and fell on the road. The rear wheel of the bus ran over him, killing on the spot, said Kilpauk traffic police.
