TV channel staff found dead in well

A cab driver working for a private news channel was found dead in a well at Manthope Colony in Ashok Nagar. The deceased has been identified as Saravanan (33), of Kodambakkam. He had been missing since September 10.  The incident came to light when residents found the well in the quarters uncovered and noticed foul smell emanating from it. While trying to cover the well, they found a body floating in it and alerted the police. 

The body was fished out and sent for post-mortem. Since there were no injury marks on his body, police suspect that Saravanan committed suicide.
