A 49-year-old man was run over by an MTC bus in Vadapalani on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Kumar a resident of Kancheepuram district.
Kumar was proceeding towards Kodambakkam from Vadapalani on his two-wheeler and to avoid the traffic jam, he got onto the platform. However, he lost balance and fell on the road. An MTC bus (M27E) coming from behind ran over him.
