TNEA opens B Arch course online application
Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2017 B.Arch online application opened on Monday for those seeking admission to University Department of Anna University, Government Aided Engineering College and self-financing colleges under the unified single window admission system.

The applicants must have qualified the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2016 / 2017) conducted by the Council of Architecture. The candidates, who wrote the exam in 2017, should have obtained marks greater than or equal to the qualifying marks (70 out of 200) prescribed.Â
Since the 2016 scores are valid this year too, the candidates should have obtained a valid score of 80 out of 200 in NATA 2016. According to the official data, around 4,334 applications were received this year for NATA from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Around 3,624 cleared the exam and another 2,009 applicants stood qualified.Â
Ranee Vedamuthu, Dean of School of Architecture and Planning, also said that students will be offered Professional Enhancement Courses, which will form 15% of the curriculum from this year.Â
