IDBI officers to go on strike on May 23
All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) and All India Bank Officers’ Association (AIBOA) has extended support to the one-day nation-wide strike call given by All India IDBI Officers and Employees Associations on May 23 demanding wage revision which is due since November 1, 2012.

The AIBEA and AIBOA has called upon all its state federations, state committees and unions across the country to extend support and solidarity by participating in their demonstration programme.
More than 15,000 employees and officers of the bank will take part in the strike, AIBEA General Secretary Ch Venkatachalam and AIBOA General Secretary S Nagarajan said on Sunday.
They said wage settlements were completed in all the banks except IDBI bank and added that the government was unwarrantedly delaying wage revision in IDBI bank.
