Student talking over phone falls to death from terrace

Police said, the deceased, John Andrin, was a hotel management student at a private college in Kattankulathur and was staying at a four-storied apartment in the area. 

On Monday morning, he went to the terrace. While speaking over his mobile phone on the terrace, he slipped and fell. Hearing the noise, other residents in the building came out and found John lying in a pool of blood. They rushed him to a private hospital in Potheri, where doctors declared him brought dead. 

Police have informed John’s parents, who are natives of Kanyakumari. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
