Pulse Polio Phase I to be conducted today
As Tamil Nadu steps into 13th polio free year and in its mission to sustain this status, all children in the age group of up to five years would be immunised as part of the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunisation (IPPI) programme.

While the first phase of the campaign would be held today, the second round would be conducted on April 30, by setting up close to 45,000 booths across all important places where people would congregate.Â
The state government made all the arrangement, which involve more than two lakh personnel drawn from health and several government departments.
