Do you have some decent moves to show and are a champion of Bboying or freestyle dance styles? Then there is a chance to showcase your talent to the world. The auditions for the dance competition, organised by MSM Dance School, have begun across five cities – Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Chennai.
The MJ Cup team will take the competition to malls and multiplexes where dance enthusiasts will get to shake a leg and achieve their dream to be part of the professional dance competition.
The winners across these cities will then battle it out in Chennai in a grand finale on January 2017 which will be judged by popular actor, director and choreographer, Prabhu Deva. Nagendra Prasad, actor, choreographer and founder of the dance school, said, “Dance is an art form that knows no barrier and brings all people together. I am excited to support and bring a platform that will give aspiring young dancing talent an avenue to showcase their art to a larger audience. As a family of dancers, we breathe, live and celebrate dance in every form and this event is our way to support its glory in the years to come.”
Actors Aravind Akash, Kalaiarasan, Gayathri Raghuraman, Varun and singers Karthik and Krish have also been roped in to spread awareness and promote the dance competition. “There is so much of talent in our country and professional platforms can really play a pivotal role in giving wings to their passion and encourage them to attain new heights,” he added. The auditions in Chennai will be held on January 15.
