Factional feud poses challenge to AIADMK
This time, the AIADMK candidates in Aravakurichi and Thanjavur have not only to fight their arch rival DMK’s strategies, but also they have to tackle and overcome the factional feuds within the party. As the feuds, which were unheard of in the party, may be a fresh issue to be tackled with by the campaign managers, say party sources.

Everyone was aware that the AIADMK was known for its self-discipline and unconditional obedience to the party high command. Party insiders said that the such issues generally crop up only during election time.
However each and every cadre will be advised in the appropriate manner to get their act together and everything will be put to rest when the party goes to campaign field. Similar instances have been witnessed in the past, but finally the party has tasted only victory, says a veteran party functionary.
Public need to wait and watch how the rescheduled elections would change the equations in the two constituencies. In fact this would be a perfect show of strength in the two segments at a time when the DMK is working vigorously to add to their count of seats in the Assembly.
