Youth, second wife killed in South

In the first incident a 23-year-old youth was murdered in a minor brawl at Sokkampatti in Madurai. The incident happened on Wednesday morning when Arun Kuma, the deceased, was riding his bike fast. He was intercepted by Ajith Kumar for the same and he asked him to go slow.

But as Arun Kumar refused there was dispute between the two. Meanwhile, Arun Kumar’s cousin Prabhu had gone via the spot and started fighting with Ajith Kumar. When the fight intensified Ajith became tensed and hacked Prabhu. 

Following the incident Prabhu was rushed to Singampurani GH in Sivagangai district but doctors declared him brought dead. Kottampatti police booked a murder case against Ajith Kumar and arrested him. 

In the second incident, a 28-year-old woman was murdered by her husband at Tirunelveli and later he surrenders. The deceased was identified as Kavitha. Her husband Marimuthu had earlier married to Saratha and had two children. After working at Dubai Marimuthu had gone to Tirupur to work in a garment factory. 

There he had met Kavitha and had married her without informing about his first wife. But recently, Marimuthu had left his job and did not return to Tiruppur. Hence Kavitha had gone to see him at his house on Tuesday midnight and on seeing Kavitha, Saratha started fighting with Marimuthu.
