    As part of the event the MMA organised ‘Chanakya – The Mastermind’ contest to decide the best potential manager of the year. Management students from all over India took part in the event. MMA had received more than 4,200 entries for this year’s competition from B Schools  /Management Institutions from all over India. The applicants were screened on the basis of their past academic performance and significant achievements. They were also asked to pen an essay on the subject “Why I am the best manger?” Out this huge list of contestants just 41 were short-listed, of which 32 were outside Tamil Nadu. The short-listed contestants further went through three rigorous rounds of evaluation. Finally ten students were selected for the finals. Niccolate Francis from XIME, Bengaluru won the overall title of the best potential manager.
