Addressing the media at the party office, he questioned the intention behind the sudden announcement of election dates and claimed that the action of State Election Commission was undemocratic. Earlier there would be a time gap for filing the nomination following the announcement of election dates but this time the election dates were announced in a hurried manner and the nomination had started the very next day which was unusual. He also claimed that all four parties of PWF are in discussion regarding the sharing of seats and once the list is obtained from the district secretaries they would prepare the final list of candidates contesting at the local body election. He further said that more than 5,000 artefacts were unearthed from Keeladi site and hence the state government should take steps to setup a museum at Keeladi. He also welcomed the judgment of HC which stayed the shifting of artefacts to Mysore by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
