SCERT receives 3,000 forms for teacher’s course

There are about 400 teacher training institutes, including District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), government teacher training institutes, government aided teacher training institutes and private institutions in the state. There are about 13,000 seats available for the single window counselling this year. 

The SCERT is expected to announce the counselling schedule for admission soon. According to the SCERT official website, admission for the course would be facilitated online and candidates would be ranked based on their Class 12 marks. 

The SCERT’s selection committee would also conduct the admission process online. The aspirants would then be directed to attend counselling at the designated centre at the respective District headquarters.
