Permanent place for R K Nagar voters in my heart, says Jayalalithaa

AIADMK supremo toured the constituency for the first time after being sworn in as Chief Minister, mainly to thank the voters. “As much as possible, I have implemented various schemes in the constituency during the last one year and more such welfare initiatives will follow in the days to come as well,” she said addressing voters at a wayside meeting during her visit to the constituency on Monday evening. 

Recalling her visit to the area earlier to solicit votes and the promises she gave, Jayalalithaa said she was fulfilling every promise one by one. “I guarantee you that all the promises made during my earlier visit will be fulfilled,” she vowed. 

The Chief Minister also thanked the electorate thrice for giving a massive mandate and helping her to become the Chief Minister for the sixth time and for giving second consecutive verdict returning the party to power and her as Chief Minister. 

“Further the triumph and your overwhelming support of the electorate of RK Nagar constituency has made me ecstatic,” she said. “I promise you that I will remain true to you for showering affection and reposing your faith in me,” the Chief Miniser said and added that RK Nagar voters would have a permanent place in her heart. 

AIADMK cadre and public lined up on both sides of the road and gave a rousing reception to her by welcoming with rose petals and the traditional drums going high pitch.
