If you do not have time to engage in an elaborate feast and are looking for options on-the-go, here are a few places that offer special kits, packs or combo to break your fast

Chennai
Zaitoon:
It offers ‘Iftar in a box’, which includes dates, mini shawarma roll, kozhi rice with laham, mutton biriyani, rava payasam in addition to haleem.
The Fisherman’s Fare:Â
Their iftar spread is one of the most talked-about in town. And they also offer set boxes for those on-the-go. From haleem to kheeme ki lukhmi, khubani ka meetha and biriyani – they have it all. They offer a very popular chicken version of the haleem.
Sea Shell:
Apart from a lavish iftar buffet, the chain also gives out the iftar kit with date palms, mineral water, fruit juices, snacks, chicken shawarma, Hyderabadi haleem, barbecue chicken, mutton biriyani, parotta, kubus, thoum and mutton gravy.
Palmshore:
From mutton samosas to laham mandi, and even chicken macaroni, it’s iftar spread sounds rather promising. They also have khubani ka meetha and haleem.
Get set for city’s first Ramzan BazarÂ
Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai have iftar food hubs for the month of Ramzan. With plenty of options to try out, these lively markets are up from evening till late night. Chennaiites have been waiting for a similar option in the city.Â
Now they can look forward to the special ‘Ramadhan Bazar’ by Chennai Food Guide in association with Shahib’s Briyani at 100 feet Road, Velachery (next to Phoenix Mall).Â
Curating iftar specialties from south India for snacks and dinner, this bazar will be up from 5 pm to 10 pm from June 6 to July 5. One can look forward to haleem, mutton biriyani and kebabs from Hyderabad, unnakkai, chemmeen anda from Kerala and of course local specialities.Â
