In a statement here, she said Mr Karunanidhi and his party members were indulging in false campaigns that the announcements made by her were non-starters.
Listing out projects implemented in the Municipal Administration and Water Supply department, she said a special scheme was being implemented in Chennai Corporation to protect environment.
She also listed out water, drainage and other projects implemented in various local bodies across the State. In the Youth Welfare and Sports department, she said a Centre of Excellence in Sports was set up at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai to train students.
She also said training was being given to athletes to take part in Olympics. A couple of days ago, she gave information on the status of announcements related to Revenue, Information Technology and Labour departments.
Stating that steps were being taken to procure hardware and software to provide Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), she said 70.52 lakh households have been provided cable TV connections at a cost of Rs 70 per month.
The connections were provided through Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation and each household was getting 90-100 television channels, Ms Jayalalithaa said.
Under the Farmers Protection Scheme in the past five years, 37.68 lakh farmers have benefitted and 58,719 farm ponds were set up. About 45 per cent of work has been completed at a cost of Rs 695 crore in the Rs 1,481 crore Coastal Disaster Risk Reduction Project (CDRRP).
