Banking the newgen way
As part of its programme to offer next generation banking solutions to the growing mobile phone and internet savvy customer base, State Bank of India, today launched SBI Intouch Branch.

Chief General Manager B. Ramesh Babu inaugurated the SBI Intouch branch on Harrington Road, Chetpet along with General Manager Network 1, D. Indu Sekhar, DY. Gen. Manager, K N Prasad and Regional Manager R. Natarajan. It will facilitate services such as instant account opening with personalised debit cards, instant loan approval for car and home, remote expert advisors available via video links, along with interactive walls and table displays. It also has an Online Banking Kiosk, where customers can learn and use Internet Banking. It also has an Express Banking Zone that includes an ATM, recycler (ATM + cash deposit machine), passbook printer, and electronic cheque drop machine.
