Chennai
Issuing notice to the CBI and seeking the State to file one more report in this regard, the first bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice MM Sundresh, said, “The question would be as to how further investigation has to be carried out and whether it is required to be entrusted to CB-CID or CBI or the current situation should be maintained.”
The order follows after Legal Commissioner U Sagayam appeared after going through the submissions of the Advocate General AL Somayaji that many steps have been taken in pursuance to the report. Incidentally, the action taken report had been filed by the Government in a sealed cover.
