Krishnasamy threatens Kovai lawyer for office space, booked

Bupesh, who is an advocate in Coimbatore, had hired an office space at Nungambakkam in Chennai. Apparently, the office of Puthiya Thamizhagam party headed by Dr Krishnasamy is located near the advocate’s office. 

Under such circumstances, the supporters of the party had engaged in a dispute with advocate Bupesh claiming that the office space Bupesh has rented belongs to them. They have asked Bupesh how he could rent the place without their knowledge. 

Meanwhile, Dr Krishnasamy who allegedly spoke to Bupesh over telephone had asked the same. In reply, Bupesh told them that one Somasundaram was the owner of the property and that he was the one who rented out the place to him. But Krishnasamy had asked the advocate to vacate his office and took the contact number of Bupesh. 

Soon after this, Bupesh is said to have received a couple of phone calls issuing murder threats if he did not vacate it. Following this, Bupesh filed a complaint with Nungambakkam police seeking protection for his life and property.

The police are investigating the matter. It is worth mentioning that Bupesh is a functionary of Congress party and the former president of Erode district youth wing of the party.
