    After giving Chennaiites delicious range of brownies with Brownie Heaven, chef Nishant Vijaykumar has decided to give the humble idli, an innovative spin. His new venture referred to as Midlis, serves upto 16 new varieties of idlis packed in four different packs — vegetarian, non-vegetarian, healthy and desserts. 

    Idlis are possibly the most popular south Indian dish throughout the world. But most restaurants only serve 3-4 varieties. I am giving out numerous other options like paneer butter masala idli , barbeque chicken idli, chicken sukka idli and brownie idli. It is not easy to make a perfectly soft idli, one needs the right combination of ingredients and temperature. Making idli in combination with other things is even more difficult. But I decided to take upon the challenge,” says Nishant. 

    As of now, Midlis are offered only on a delivery and take-away basis either from the Brownie Heaven outlet in Royapettah or through mobile apps like Swiggy and Dineout.
