Government officials should launch the work to fulfill their projects on time. Several department staffs are agitating for various demands and the government should consider their grievances within the current session, urged Vasan.
It is the duty of the government to provide relief to all the affected traders, farmers and others residing in Chennai, Kanchipuram and Thiruvalluvar and Cuddalore districts. In particular, the farming community has to be provided with relief measures to enhance farming activities. Third installment of Central assistance towards Tamil Nadu of Rs 1,774 crore has been delivered but is not enough to meet the requirements of the state and hence government should insist for more, Vasan demanded.
