In the set of guidelines issued to board exam hall supervisors, the DGE has said that striking out answers in the board exam will be considered as indiscipline.
“Results will be withheld and student will not be permitted to sit for the subsequent two board exams. So students are informed that they should not strike out answer sheets,” the DGE said.
The directorate has urged exam hall supervisors to inform candidates about the rule before the start of every exam. The DGE has also barred invigilators, from taking their cell phones into the examination halls.
