22 meritorious policemen from Tamil Nadu get President’s medal

The Government of India has honoured 22 police personnel from Tamil Nadu with the Prestigious President’s awards. The awards are bestowed upon the police personnel twice every year on the occasions of Republic Day and Independence Day for outstanding professional accomplishments, achievements and good will.  

IPS officers M Ravi (IPS Chairman/Principal Vigilance Officers Aavin Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers Federation, Chennai) and G Sambandham (DSP, Special Investigation Wing, DVAC, Chennai) were awarded with President’s Police Medal for distinguished service. 

Twenty police officers have been awarded with President’s Police Medal for meritorious Service. Intl. Branch, Coimbatore Corporation), C Mugilan (DSP, Vandalur Sub-Division, Kanchipuram Dist), P Nandhakumar (ACP, Guindy Range, Chennai Metropolitan Police), M Sirajudeen (DSP, Integrated Crime Intl. Wing, Chennai), S V Bargunam (DSP, DVAC, Tirunelveli), V Kannan (DSP, Home Guards, Saidapet, Chennai), R Manonmani (DSP, (Technology), Trichy Corporation), K Raghu (DSP, (Technology), Kanchipuram Range), M Murthy (Inspector, Strike Force School, Chennai), A Subramanian (Inspector, Security Wing, CBCID, Chennai), S Balasubramanian (Spl. Sub-Inspector, DVAC, Virudhunagar), S Arul Azhagan (Spl. Sub-Inspector, Chennai, Metro-IV, DVAC, Chennai), N Venugopal (Spl. Sub-Inspector, Chennai Metro-II, DVAC, Chennai) and R Sekar (Spl.
