    Traffic diversion for TNPSC exams Today

    The Greater Chennai traffic police have imposed traffic regulations on Kamarajar Salai to deal with traffic congestion in view of TNPSC exams and the Republic Day parade rehearsals on Sunday.

    Following the ban, the TNPSC applicants traveling to Presidency College Examination Centre from Paris and Broadway should take either the Reserve Bank Subway, Raja Annamalai Mandram, Muthusamy Bridge or Wallajah Road to reach Canal Road (behind Ezhilagam) as an alternative. Applicants heading to Rani Mary College and Wellington Education Institute Examination Centres from Paris and Broadway are diverted to the Reserve Bank Subway, Raja Annamalai Manram, Muthusamy Bridge, Monroe Statue, Anna Statue, Wallajah Road, Triplicane High Road, ICE House bus stand to reach Natesan Road. 

    Candidates traveling to their examination centres at St. Peters School and Rosary Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Santhome High Road, can take the route via Reserve Bank Subway, Raja Annamalai Manram, Muthusamy Bridge, Anna Salai, G P Road, Royapettah High Road or Luz Junction to reach the Kutcheri Road examination centres. 

    Candidates from Adyar to the examination centre at Presidency College should take Greenways Road junction, Mandaveli, Mylapore, Royapettah, Clock Tower and Triplicane to reach Bharathi Salai. Police have requested the applicants to plan their travel accordingly to reach in time.
