Suicide mounts tension in Villipuram
Tension prevailed at the Munidiyampakkam government medical college here where the bodies of the three Siddha students who allegedly committed suicide at Chinna Salem in this district of Tamilnadu yesterday were kept.

According to police,the parents of the three girls, Priyanka, Saranya and Monisha- refused to accept the body demanding that the post-mortem shold not be conducted at the Mundiyambakkam medical college and instead it should be done in the Kilpauk government hospital.They alleged that they got suspicion that the girls were beaten to death and thrown into the well,since injuries were there on their bodies.Tension erupted as the parents and relatives of the girls gathered infront fo the hospital. Eventhough,police tried to convince and pacify them,they refused to heed.
Meanwhile, Mr.Ramamurthy,the legislator from Vikravandi who came to the hospital also putforth the demand that the post-mortem be conducted at the Kilpauk government hospital in Chennai. He also demanded adequate compensation to the families of the girls and action against the college.
