Officials said that considering the fact that the bus passengers earlier faced a lot of difficulties in terms of reserving tickets, the state government last year facilitated separate reservation counters during festival seasons and those counters were very helpful in easing hardship and giving convenience to register tickets.
“The government’s move to establish such computerised counters is a boon for those passengers. Further, special counters are also open to differently-abled people and women,” said an official. Welcoming the move, a passenger, who filled details in an application form thanked the government.
