Stadium used as collection point for relief material

The relief material received here will be segregated and distributed to the needy by the Chennai Corporation and the volunteers.

More than 1,000 volunteers and senior officials are working around the clock to ensure that relief material is reaching people, who need them. 

A food brand, iD Fresh Foods, has formed an in-house team to provide food packets in flood-hit Chennai. As part of its relief measures, iD is offering over 12 tonnes of idly and dosa batter everyday. iD aims to feed Chennaiites at least 2 million idlis. The brand is also ensuring the food products are being prepared in hygienic conditions.
