Rajini gives 10 lakh for rain relief

Ongoing monsoon has thrown life out of gear. In order to share the government’s burden, the Nadigar Sangam (Actors Association) has been involved in collecting funds. Actor Rajinikanth who has just returned from US after participating in pre-production work of Enthiran-2 handed over the cheque to the office bearers of the Nadigar Sangam.

Actors Surya and Karthy have donated Rs 25 lakh, Vishal has given Rs 10 Lakh, Dhanush Rs 5 lakh, Prabhu and Vikram Prabhu Rs 5 lakh, Sivakarthikeyan Rs 5 lakh and Sathyaraj and his actor son Sibiraj have donated Rs 2.25 lakh. In total, a sum of Rs 62.25 lakh has been contributed towards the CM relief fund, said the sources.
