On receiving information about the flooding in Tambaram, ADGP Sylendra Babu, sprang into action with this team to evacuate residents to safety. Terrified residents of the Mudichur area, soon after seeing the flood waters entering their houses, made emergency calls to the government emergency service seeking immediate help. Without delay, ADGP Sylendra Babu, with his team rushed to help the people trapped inside their houses in CTO Colony, Sai Nagar and Sashivardhan Nagar.
The ADGP got into the flood water along with his team members and saved more than 300 residents from danger with the help of 16 fishing boats.
