Gurumoorthy, 18, helper at an eatery

I am from Tiruvarur and have studied up to Class 10. I had to discontinue my education owing to family problems. Then, three years ago, I began to work as a helper for an electrician in Tiruvarur. Sometime later, my mother died and I was abandoned by my father. My grandparents then took me in. Ever since I was a child, I liked to bake cakes and used to admire them when I was in my village. I came to Chennai a month ago and joined in a bakery in Perungalathur. Right now I work as a helper but in my free time, I observe how the bakers prepare the cakes. I used to watch videos on YouTube for different tips and tutorials on how to bake a cake. My dream is to become a famous cake master in Tamil Nadu and I will work hard to realise it. I believe that in the future I can open a big bakery somewhere Chennai and help needy people by feeding them. Chennai is a good place to work and the people are quite welcoming. I have fallen in love with the city.
