DT Next Impact: Water tankers to solve water crisis

The street has been receiving water supply on alternate days and a report carried by DT Next titled ‘Water from hand pumps comes out with a stink, Ekambaram Street residents fight for safe option’ that appeared on September 26, stated that the residents were left with no option, but settle for the greyish water mixed with sewage.

Following the report, the CMWSSB has informed that the problem will be rectified shortly, as they were trying to find out the source of pollution. Till then, two 9KL water tankers will be arranged for the residents.
