CHENNAI: Tamil actor-director Manobala shared his experience with actor Vijay during his recent visit to the sets of Varisu, which is likely to hit the screens for Pongal 2023.
The comedian took to Twitter to pour in his admiration for Vijay and said, "Met thalapathi VIJAY n varisu set...it was amazing ...he s still d same...lots of energy while dancing ...15mts talk...gave me freshness and energy for me too..." (sic).
Following this tweet the actor was asked several questions about the film. The most important of those were whether the film's first single update would be announced on Deepavali, to which Manobala responded with an affirmative message.
He said that he was at Varisu set during a song shoot.
Varisu, also called Vaarasudu in Telugu, is an upcoming bilingual film made in Tamil and Telugu directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film is bankrolled by Dil Raju, music is scored by Thaman, cinematography is by Karthik Palani and editing by National-award winning editor KL Praveen.
Rashmika Mandanna is starring opposite Vijay along with a gallery of actors such as Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar and Jayasudha.
Varisu, touted to be a family drama high on emotions, will hit the screens on Pongal in 2023.
