"Almost all businesses and organisations have opened with full strength. So, I believe theatres too can start showing movies with full strength," he said.

Lokesh was speaking at an event ahead of the film's release on January 13. Interestingly, his comments arrived almost the same time as a notification from the Centre directing the state government to revoke its approval of 100 per cent occupancy in theatres.

Equating watching movies in multiplexes and theatres to travelling in air-conditioned buses for hours, Lokesh added, "AC buses have started plying from one city to another and the trips usually take five to six hours. The scenario is pretty much the same, except that 'Master' is little under three hours. When the movie releases, I would take my family as well and follow necessary protocols and watch the film."

Apart from people following the norms, Lokesh also asserted that theatres would maintain a strict protocol before letting people enter.

"Theatre managers usually do not let people under the influence of alcohol to enter. This pandemic is something new to all of us. I believe theatres will be strict in checking temperatures and restricting people who show the sypmtoms," he said.
