Bharath, Janani Iyer rom-com titled Yaakai Thiri

Directed by Bharath Mohan of Igloo fame, the film will be a rom com. “The story will be light-hearted entertainer. Though it will be a fresh script, it will cater to the family audience and audience across different age groups,” he told DT Next.

Yaakai Thiri also has Sonakshi Singh Rawat playing another female lead. “She is a model and it took us to convince her a lot to give her nod to play this role. She is new to Tamil and has been working on her dialogues now. Apart from her Bhagavathi Perumal, Niranjani, Pandiarajan, Gnanasamandham and Sudha Chandran play crucial roles in this project. The story takes place inside a gated community for which we will be shooting. Produced by Meraki Production, Arrol Correli will compose music for Yaakai Thiri.
