Award-winning Tamil trilogy Alpha Adimai all set for release

Talking to DT Next, the director of the film Jinovi said, “Alpha Adimai is a crime thriller and a trilogy as well. The first part of the film will be an introduction to the antagonist and the second will be of the protagonist. The third part of the film will be a faceoff. Each of these parts will have a runtime between 90 minutes and two hours.” The film is currently competing in Busan and Tokyo Film Festivals. “We won the Best Debut Feature Film Category in the Indus Valley Film Fest. We are currently awaiting the results from Busan and Tokyo. We have given the film to such festivals because we wanted to see how the global audience reacts to such content. It is a commercial content with an unconventional style of narration,” added Jinovi.

Divulging a bit about the story he said, “This is a crime thriller that takes place in one night. The story is about the dark world of drug peddling and how two youngsters are caught in a situation. We are in talks with a few OTT platforms to release it and an announcement will be made soon.” The film is an independent project that is made on a shoestring budget funded by a group of youngsters. Alpha Adimai has Vinod Varma, Vijay Anand, Kalki, Easwar and Arun in important roles.
