Simran denies being part of Chandramukhi 2
Ever since Raghava Lawrence announced that he will appear in a sequel to Chandramukhi replacing Superstar Rajinikanth, there have been speculations about who will star in the titular role.

There were rumours that Simran had been approached by the makers. However, the actress has denied it. Taking to Twitter, she said, “I am sorry to disappoint my fans. I wanted to clarify that I have not been approached for any such role for a movie.” The actress was responding to a post that asked if she was part of “Chandramukhi 2”.
It may be noted that there were similar reports circulating on social media that Jyotika might reprise the role of Chandramukhi. However, in an interview to DT Next, she too denied the claims. The sequel will mark the return of director P Vasu and the movie will be produced by Sun Pictures.
The filming is expected to commence once the lockdown ends. Meanwhile, Simran will soon appear in the biopic drama, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, alongside Madhavan.
