Rakul Preet busts rumours with humour

Several online entertainment websites misreported and quizzed readers if the actress is seen buying alcohol at a wine shop. However, taking to Twitter, the star responded sportively with a laugh and thinking emoji and wrote, “Oh wow! I wasn’t aware that medical stores were selling alcohol!” In the video, Rakul can be seen making her way back to her car after buying “medicines”. She also politely declines the paparazzi’s requests for photos as she walks.

Her tweet comes at a time when liquor shops were allowed to open by the Government as some restrictions have been eased during the ongoing lockdown. Since the beginning of this stay-at-home period, the actress has been quite active on social media, sharing videos of her daily routines or taking up new challenges that trend on the Internet.

On the work front, Rakul Preet will soon star in a romanticcomedy with Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor. She will also act in Kamal Haasan’s next big film Indian 2, which costars Kajal Aggarwal.
