AR Murugadoss to team up with Vijay for Thuppaki 2?

There have been several rumours surrounding the director of Vijay’s 65th film ahead of Master’s release. Vijay has been listening to narrations from Magizh Thirumeni, Sudha Kongara, Vetri Maaran and Perarasu for his upcoming film.

However, sources say that he has decided to go ahead with AR Murugadoss once again after Sarkar. If things fall in place, this will be the fourth time that the duo will collaborate for a project. A source in the know told us, “Murugadoss and Vijay are planning to make a sequel to their blockbuster film Thuppaki. The film is likely to go on floors from July and hit the screens for January 2021. However, Vijay is also open to narrations from other directors and he has even listened to a story from Lokesh Kanagaraj while shooting for Master. We would have to wait until the production house makes an official announcement.” Vijay will have to choose between Sun Pictures and his father SA Chandrasekhar’s production house VV Creations to produce his next.

Meanwhile, Vijay’s Master is scheduled to hit the screens on April 9. The film features an ensemble cast of Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Gouri Kishan in important roles.
